Kale Apple Breakfast smoothie

What’s the best way to start the day? Make yourself a delicious crisp smoothie. One of my favorite smoothie ingredients is kale and apple.

We all know know leafy green vegetables is good for us but do you know why? Kale is a good source of vitamin A, C, and K. It’s high in fiber so it keeps us feeling full longer and to top it off it helps regulate our sugar level which is a plus 🙂

Apples are healing fruit that helps our body detox while cleansing all the gunk we have in our system.

Hemp seeds are high in protein and contains all the benefits of omega 3 and omega 6.

Chia seeds are high in fiber and have a high dosage of omega 3.

Recipe

2 cups of kale leaves

1 medium apple cored and cut

1 tablespoon of hemp seed

1 tablespoon of chia seed

1 ½ cup of water or coconut water

Using a mixer or a blender, place the kale, apple, hemp and chia seeds together. Mix all the ingredients until smooth.
