Sensory Beauty – Sahara Rose brand Review

Sahara Rose Skincare Line

As a self-proclaimed skincare enthusiast, I enjoy indulging in skincare rituals. Carving out time for myself to unwind after a long day is essential. Even if it’s five minutes, the time spent makes a world of difference on my body and mind. Using an aromatic skincare line enhances that experience, the scent and texture of the products helps to calm and uplift my mood. The Sahara Rose skincare line offers just that. All the products were created to satisfy the user’s sensory experience from touch to smell.

Ikram Elharti is the founder of Sahara Rose, her skincare products focus and embrace the idea of sensory beauty. She wants everyone to take pleasure in doing their routine, to enjoy the time spent in taking care of themselves, and to take the opportunity to unwind from their busy lives.

In today’s review, I want to talk about a couple of products from the line I have been using these products for the past month and a half. Ikram kindly gifted me all the products for this review.

Luminous clarifying enzyme cleanser  is a PH balance cream cleanser that calms and brightens your skin. Made up a blend of soothing oils; sunflower, castor, sweet almond, and rose oil. There is also pomegranate and cactus extract enzymes that gently deep cleanse and exfoliate.  Salicylic acid works to clear pores of dirt and oil.

I use this cleanser as part of my 2nd cleanse at night. It is incredibly soothing and creamy. Two pumps is enough to use for my whole face and neck. I find myself reaching for this cleanser because the lightly scented lavender fragrance is quite relaxing. I tested the PH level of the cleanser, it came out to a 6.5 PH level, a balancing formula so it will not strip away any of the natural skin oils.

Hydra Rich Radiance Mist – A hydrating water mist that energizes and revitalizes the skin. Made with antioxidant herbs to heal, soothe, and calm the skin: chamomile, calendula, and aloe vera. Sodium PCA and hyaluronic acid are humectants that lock moisture in the skin. The mist can be used as a prepping step before serum or as a makeup setting spray.

The radiance mist is a great staple to use after cleansing. The nozzle on the mister is fine, I am able to spray 3-4 spritz on my skin evenly allowing my skin to prep for the serum step. The mist feels lightweight and soothing, leaving behind a layer of hydration that hugs the skin. The scent is a beautiful subtle rose scent.

Resplendent Resurfacing Mask – This newly launched face mask gently slough away dead skin for a more even texture and tone. The star ingredients are lactic acids, kaolin clay, flower and fruit extract, and moth bean extract. Moth bean (vigna aconitifolia) is a plant-based retinol alternative, to boost skin turnover. Turmeric and saffron in the mask brightens the skin, giving me a glow.

Masking is one of my favorite steps, it instantly boosts up my skincare ritual for a brighter skin tone. The resurfacing mask comes in a pink berry color, the texture is creamy and spreads like butter on the skin. I leave the mask on for 5-10 minutes knowing that the gentle enzymes will work it’s magic to shed away the dead skin without any tingling or irritation. Rinses away clean with clearer pores and a smoother skin.

Retails for $58, 1.7. fl. oz/ 50 gram (Here)

Sumptuous Regenerating Cream  – The cream has a medium consistency, a cross between an oil balm and lightweight moisturizer.  Blended with a mixture of nourishing seed extract and high-quality prickly pear seed oil to form a barrier shield around the skin. Prickly pear seed oil (Opuntia Ficus- Indica Seed Oil) is high in linoleic acid and vitamin E to feed and protect the skin from losing any moisture. Moth bean and niacinamide aid in keeping the skin nice and smooth.

Retails $65, 1.7. fl. oz/ 50 gram (Here)

As the temperature changed, I keep this cream handy in my routine. A dime size amount of the cream is all it takes to cover my face, neck, and chest area. The cream is fast absorbing so my skin feels comfortable without any tackiness. My face feels supple and soft to the touch.
