My current favorite skincare product is the Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet. The sorbet moisturizing is 40 ml for $39 it can be purchased on the Caudalie, Sephora, Birch box website. As you can tell from the name the moisturizer is a light gel cream that helps mositurize the skin. Caudalie describes the product as a calming soothing cream that instantly hydrates the skin. In addition to hydrating, the sorbet has a few additional unique qualities that will make your skin look younger and healthier: 

– Penetrates deep into the skin to increase hydrations.                                                                                                        – Evens out the skin tone and texture                            – Reduce redness.                                              – Softens the skin.                                              – Increase the skin elasticity.

Caudalie didn’t stop there, they further developed the product to include anti-aging benefits. The added ingredients boosts the skins natural barrier, nourishes and replenishs skin. Protecting it from dirt and other harmful toxins.

Caudalie have updated the Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet packaging changing the tube from white to pink. I have called and confirmed with the Caudalie boutique in New York City the packing is the only trunk that changed. The ingredients and the formula is the same whether it’s the old white tube or new pink one.  The formula is non-comedogenic and works for all skin types. Even on oily skin types. 

I received 2 deluxe size samples of the sorbet awhile, I left it on my night stand and forgot about it. One night when I was getting ready for bed, I realized I forgot to put cream on my face. So I randomly grabbed some cream off my night stand and rubbed it on all over my face.  In the morning my skin was glowing. My skin instantly felt smoother and it looked brighter.  I was surprise the night cream made such a big effect after a single use. I didn’t want the glow to disappear so I kept using it the cream everyday for a few weeks later I notice my acne prone skin was less red, less irritated and felt hydrated. It helped even out some of my skin discoloration from old acne marks.   My first impression of the cream was the light weight texture and how fast it was absorbed into my skin.  But now I am hooked on the product. It looked like my skin was injected with a shot of caffeine every morning.

Texture

The moisturizer is a light gel cream. When I massage the cream onto my face it absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky residue. It hydrates my skin enough where I don’t get small dry spots. It sits well under tinted moisturizer or foundation. 

Fragrance

There is a faint flowery scent; I can barely smell it, unless I put the tube of sorbet right under my nose. The smell will subside within a few minutes after applying the cream.

Results
I have been using the moisturizer for several months now. I have notice my skin is glowing, more radiant, and hydrated. The ingredients in the cream helped even out my skin discoloration which slowly reduces the appearance of my acne scars.

The moisturizer did not break me out or irritate my skin. Since the cream is non-comedogenic it did not clog my pores. My skin absorbs the cream on contact, leaving my skin soft and smooth. Its light enough for oily or combination skin types. Overall the cream has smooth out my skin so when I apply foundation the foundation can easily blend into my skin. Sometimes I even skip face primer.
